An NFC business card looks like a premium card, but inside it is a tiny chip and antenna. When someone holds their phone near it, the phone reads a web link from the chip and opens it. With SnapLinkr, that link is your digital profile.
What does NFC mean?
NFC stands for Near Field Communication. It is the same short-range wireless technology used for contactless payments. It only works within a few centimetres, so a card can't be read from across the room.
Does the card need a battery?
No. The chip is powered by the phone that taps it, so the card never needs charging and keeps working for years.
What happens when someone taps it?
- They hold the top-back of their phone near your card.
- A notification appears and your SnapLinkr profile opens in their browser.
- They tap Save Contact and your details are added to their phone.
What if their phone doesn't support NFC?
Every SnapLinkr card has a QR code on the back. Any phone camera can scan it to open the same profile. You can check popular models on our compatible devices page.
Why it beats paper
Because the card holds a link rather than printed details, you can change your number, title or links any time without reprinting. One card can last for years.
